This is one of our experimental projects reserved for schools. It is a real
tool for collaboration via the web between elementary, middle and upper
schools in nine Italian communes. Schools from Rome, Bologna, Turin, Piacenza,
Rovigo, Siena, Livorno, Grosseto and Bari are taking part in the project.
Thanks to the Telecities Association, an online journal has been started for
primary and secondary schools. The editorial staff is made up of students
who are assisted and coordinated by their teachers. It is a point of reference
for information aimed at the school world, but also represents a writing
workshop for youngsters, dealing with topics connected to politics, news and
current affairs, seen through the eyes of the students. Other sections are
given over to information about services and entertainment, as well as sport,
nature, music, new technologies, and so on.
The project is temporarily suspended.
